We recognise that protection and safety of information relating to your credit card and payment details is very important. Therefore, we provide you with a very safe and stress-free online shopping experience.
We use the highest strength Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to transmit your personal and credit card details and we do not store your credit card details at any time.
MAKARLU accepts payment in multiple currencies via the payment gateways Stripe and PayPal. Stripe accepts all major debit and credit cards (inc. Visa, Mastercard and AMEX) from customers in every country.
All prices quoted on the website are set to the default currency of your IP address / geolocation and will be updated based on the shipping address entered at checkout. We reserve the right to change the prices displayed on the website.
After you make payment for your order we will email you an invoice which confirms receipt of your order.
By making a purchase in our online store you consent to receive further electronic communications from us in relation to the MAKARLU business, including information relating to products, review requests, promotions, special offers and any other commercial message. You may opt out at any time by simply clicking ‘unsubscribe’ within one of our mail-outs.
Turnaround and Tracking
All orders are shipped from our facility in Brisbane, Australia, within 1 business day.
Once your order is dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information so you can track the status of your delivery.
Please ensure to provide complete and accurate details (including delivery address and delivery instructions) at the time of placing your order.

If you decide your MAKARLU product isn’t right for you, simply let us know within 15 days of receiving your order and you can return it for a 100% refund, we’ll even pay for the return shipping.
What happens to returned products?
Where appropriate, returned products will be throughly cleaned and put to good use in one of our affiliated Pilates studios, gyms, or health clinics.
If you think your order has been damaged during transit, please notify us and provide photos within 48 hours of receiving the damaged package.
If you receive a product that is not what you ordered, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
MAKARLU products have a one-year guarantee against manufacturing defects. In the event of a manufacturing defect in this period, we will repair or replace the defective part at no additional cost to you. MAKARLU does not accept returns on items damaged by general wear and tear. MAKARLU reserves the right to determine a genuine fault or manufacturing defect in the product.
Australia Post guarantees Express Post delivery will be next business day for items posted on a business day (Monday to Friday). Next business day delivery covers 80% of Australian business addresses, private addresses and Post Office Boxes. Service operates between all capital cities (except Darwin and in Perth CBD only) and some major centres. Outside metropolitan areas guaranteed service is to and from townships only.
*Please note that at time of writing, Australia Post has temporarily suspended their Express Post next business day guarantee. The Express Post service will continue to be their fastest postal delivery option for customers – and they’ll continue to prioritise these deliveries. It’s fast! Estimated delivery of 2-4 business days to metropolitan areas of major cities, only slightly longer for regional areas.
It’s secure! Delivery door to door (or nearby Post Office) with recipient signature recorded.
It’s trackable! You’ll receive email updates as your package progresses through its journey.
*Please note that we are still shipping to more than 190 counties worldwide, however certain routes may experience delays due to the dynamic nature of the COVID-19 situation.
For some countries, including but not limited to those in the USA, Canada, EU, UK, Nordic countries, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Chile, Peru, and Mexico—import duties, customs charges and taxes (e.g. VAT) are included in the purchase price.
For any countries where these import costs are not included in the purchase price, a message will display in the checkout ‘local taxes, duties & handling fees excluded’. If any additional import costs are applicable, these must be paid by the customer to local customs on arrival of the order. These costs vary depending on the order value and destination country of the order, we recommend contacting the local customs office or broker for country specific information. Any redelivery of parcels needs to be arranged and paid for by the customer.
